| Exchange Disseminated Time 12/11/2016 15:56:12 | With reference to the earlier letter dated October 28, 2016, stating that the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India was expected to deliver an interim order after the Diwali break, Noida Toll Bridge Company Ltd has now informed BSE that the Hon’ble Supreme Court has issued an Interim Order dated November 11, 2016 in the case of NTBCL v. FONRWA & Ors. (SLP (D) No. 36526/2016).
The Hon’ble Supreme Court has sought assistance of the CAG to submit a Report regarding the correctness of the Petitioner’s claim that the Total Cost of the Project has not been recovered as per the Concession Agreement. The CAG has been directed to submit its report within four weeks. No interim relief has been granted as the Company can be compensated by extension of time, if it succeeds in its appeal. The Hon’ble SC has also issued Notices to all respondents to the SLP. |
