| Exchange Disseminated Time | Merck Ltd has informed BSE that the Board of Directors of the Company has been reconstituted with the appointment of the following Directors with effect from December 13, 2007.
1. Mr. K Shivkumar has been appointed as an Additional Director. Since Mr. Shivkumar is in the employment of Company he has also been appointed as a Whole-time Director subject to the approval of the shareholders at the next Annual General Meeting.
2. Mr. E Kshirsagar has been appointed as an additional non-executive Independent Director.
With the above appointments, the Board now consists of 8 Directors, out of which three are Non-Executive Independent Directors. |
