"Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers Company Ltd. (GNFC) is a leading Chemicals and Fertilizers major, promoted by the Govt. of Gujarat. GNFC is engaged in the business of manufacturing and selling of Fertilizers, industrial Chemicals and Information Technology [IT].
GNFC has taken up major expansion and diversification projects worth Rs. 3,600 crore scheduled to be completed by 2012. Accordingly, Weak Nitric Acid (WNA), Concentrated Nitric Acid [CNA], Captive Power and Steam Generation Unit [CPSU), Ethyl Acetate, Feed Stock Conversion and Toluene Di-Isocyanate [TDI] Projects are being set up. TDI is the grass root project being set up at Dahej Complex, whereas Feed Stock Conversion Project for Ammonia Plant is being set up at its existing site at Bharuch." |
