| Exchange Disseminated Time | Celebrity Fashions Ltd has informed BSE that Mr. S Surya Narayanan has been appointed as Managing Director of the Company with immediate effect.
The Board in its meet held on March 29, 2011, appointed Mr. S Surya Narayanan as additional Director of the Company and unanimously approved his appointment as Managing Director.
With the demerger of Indian Terrain into a separate listed entity, the Board has felt the need for separate Managing Directors for active management of the two Companies. Mr. V. Rajagopal has resigned from the post of Managing Director of Celebrity Fashions pursuant to Mr. S. Surya Narayanan's appointment, He will continue to be the non-executive Chairman of the Company.
Mr. S. Surya Narayanan will be the Compliance Officer of the Company as approved by the Board. |
