| Exchange Disseminated Time 22/07/2016 15:55:30 | Ponni Sugars (Erode) Ltd has informed BSE that the Company had earlier obtained the consent of the Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board (TNPCB) under the Water & Air Pollution Acts for operating the Company's Cogeneration Power Plant at 15 MW capacity. TNPCB by its Order dt. July 22, 2016 has now given consent to operate this power plant for the expanded capacity of 19 MW.
The Company would thus be in a position to enhance power production and sale based on the consent for the enhanced capacity of 19 MW. |
