| Exchange Disseminated Time | Kernex Microsystems India Ltd has informed BSE about the following:
- ACD Project Development under technology partnership with Konkan Railways has been completed, as envisaged.
- ACD Project in NF Railways, over 1730 KMS has been completed and RDSO SAT is also completed. The project, has since been commissioned, however, formal confirmation by Railway Board is awaited.
- Railway Board is in the process of clearing ACD deployment over Southern & South Central and South-Western Railway zones over 1700 KMS and corresponding Locos. Additionally over 1000 ACD are also expected to be installed in NF Railways.
- KRCL along with MD, of the Company has done presentation on the Strategy & Methodology for Implementation of ACD System over 56,000 KMS covering all routes of Indian Railways. Year-wise programme for implementation is awaited from Indian Railways.
- Total project outlay of implementation of ACD project is estimated at approximately Rs 2500 to Rs 3000 crores, taking cost escalation and design changes into consideration. Deployment of ACD system is to be completed by 2013-2014 according to Indian Railways Corporate Safety Plan.
- The Company is expected to get orders of varying sizes from year to year, of value approximately Rs 150 crores to 250 crores.
- Development of another Railway Safety System, called "Digital Axle Counter" has been completed in technology partnership with M/s. Altpro of Croatia and the product design has been submitted to RDSO and awaiting approval for final trails.
- Egypt : The Company is in advance stage of discussion with Egyptian National Railways for closing the ACD project, value of which, is expected to be about 25 Million US$, covering over 900 KMS. |
