| Exchange Disseminated Time 12/01/2017 16:16:57 | Maithan Alloys Ltd has informed BSE that the Board of Directors has taken on record the resignation of Mr. B K Agarwalla, Chairman and Whole Time Director of the Company and pre-concluded his tenure as such with effect from January 04, 2017.
Further, pursuant to Regulation 31A of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, the Board of Directors at its meeting held on January 12, 2017, has considered and approved the re-classification of certain persons/entities as named in Annexure A (as enclosed), from the "Promoter & Promoter Group Category" to "Public Category". The re-classification is subject to the approval of the Members of the Company and other regulatory authority.
The Board of Directors has convened an Extra-Ordinary General Meeting to be held on February 07, 2017 for the purpose of re-classification.
