"BEML LIMITED, a Defence Public Sector Undertaking, is moving forward in the aerospace vertical as part of expansion of its Defence Business. In this regard, BEML has started setting up state-of-the-art Aerospace Manufacturing Division at SEZ Park near Bangabre International Airport, Devanahalli. The Bhoomi-Pooja for commencing civil construction was performed today by BEML Chairman & Managing Director, Shri V RS Natarajan in the presence of Functional Directors and other senior executives. BEML is the first company to set up Aerospace Facility at SEZ area. The construction work has begun and this infrastructure facility shall be ready by September 2012. This will pave the way for BEML Limited to enter into Aircraft Manufacturing field with an aim to roll-out an aircraft. This is the second new Aerospace Manufacturing Facility.
