| Exchange Disseminated Time | Scooters India Ltd has informed BSE that in the limited review report of the Company for the quarter ended December 31, 2007, the Auditors of the Company have made the following observations:
"The Company has booked expenses Rs 12955369.00, Rs 7036016.00 & Rs 178722.00 under Contribution to PF, Employees Share of Pension Contribution & Contribution to ESI Scheme, respectively, instead of Rs 14484891.00, Rs 7881900.00 & Rs 199823.95, respectively. Hence short amount booked as provision under Profit & Loss A/c amounting to Rs 2396457.95. This has resulted in the understatement of loss of the Company during the nine month ended December 31, 2007 by Rs 2396457.95." |
