"Tata Sons Limited, one of the promoters of the Company, vide its letter dated October 24, 2016 has informed the Company that pursuant to a meeting of its Board of Directors held on October 24, 2016, Mr. Cyrus P Mistry has been replaced as the Chairman of Tata Sons Limited with immediate effect and that Mr. Ratan N. Tata shall be the Interim Chairman of Tata Sons Limited until the new Chairman is appointed in accordance with the procedures prescribed in the Companies Act, 2013 and the Articles of Association of Tata Sons Limited." |
