| Exchange Disseminated Time | Thirumalai Chemicals Ltd has informed BSE that the Board of the Company has appointed Mr. R. Sampath as an Additional Director of the Company and elected him as the Non-executive Chairman of the Company w.e.f. February 07, 2011.
Currently, Mr. R. Sampath is the Chairman & Managing Director of M/s. Ultramarine & Pigments Ltd.
Both Mr. S. Sridhar & Mr. R. Parthasarathy have decided to step down as the Chairman & Vice-Chairman of the Company respectively. However, they will continue as joint Managing Directors of the Company.
The above mentioned re-organization has been done to enable the joint Managing Directors to singularly concentrate on the Primary products of the Company viz. Phthallic Anhydride (PAN), Food Acids and Maleic Anyhydride (MAN) to cater to their growing local and overseas demand.
The above mentioned changes would be effective from February 07, 2011. |
