| Exchange Disseminated Time | | HMT Ltd has informed BSE that the Company has established a high tech Engine Emission Testing Laboratory in R&D Centre at its Tractor Division, Pinjore at an investment of Rs 50 million. The Laboratory is first of its kind in the Northern Region. This will help in the development of the Company's Tractor Engines for better performance as well as compliances to current TREM-III and take care of TREM-IV norms that are likely to be Implemented by the Tractor Industry in 2008. The Laboratory has been equipped with exhaust gas analyzer for measurement of pollutants like carbon monoxide, hydrocarbons, oxides of nitrogen and carbon dioxide, particular measurement instruments for particulates, smoke meter for visible smoke, fuel consumption meter, engine testing dynameter and conditioned air supply system. The test equipments have been sourced from the world renowned engine testing Company viz. AVL of Austria. |
