| Exchange Disseminated Time | The Exchange had sought clarification from IFCI Ltd with respect to news article appearing in Hindustan Times on November 03, 2014 titled "IFCI in talks to offload Rs 700 cr loan given to Gurgaon power co."
IFCI Ltd replied "We would like to state that owing to the nature of operations of the Company, occurrences of NPAs and selling of NPAs to Asset Reconstruction Companies (ARCs) etc. is part of normal business activity and is not in the nature of price sensitive information.
However, in the instant case, we would like to state that at present, no steps have been taken for selling the stake in Sravanthi Energy." |
