| Exchange Disseminated Time | With reference to earlier announcement dated May 15, 2014 & May 09, 2014 regarding proposed sale of Whyte and Mackay Group Limited by a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company (the "Proposed Sale"), United Spirits Ltd has now informed BSE that the Board and the statutory auditors of the Company are in the process of evaluating the financial statements of the Company for the year ended March 31, 2014. However, the Board expects that it would require additional time in order to complete a comprehensive balance sheet review including in respect of the impact of the Proposed Sale on the statement of affairs of the Company as at March 31, 2014. The Board is aiming to complete this as expeditiously as practicable.
The Company shall, as required under the Listing Agreement, update the stock exchanges upon a board meeting being convened to consider the accounts of the Company. |
