| Exchange Disseminated Time | The Exchange had sought clarification from Oil India Ltd with respect to the media report dated August 01, 2014 regarding " ONGC OIL in $1.5 bn Joint Bid for Murphy Oil’s Malaysia Assets”.
Oil India Ltd has replied as under:
"1. We have not contributed for the Article 'Energy Security-ONGC, OIL in $1.5 bn Joint Bid for Murphy Oil’s Malaysia Assets'.
2. As per Clause 36 of the Listing Agreement, price sensitive events which will have a bearing on the performance / operations of the Company are to be informed to Stock Exchanges, which we have taken note of.
3. In terms of the Listing Agreement we have been intimating the exchanges as and when the event occurs." |
