NHPC Ltd has informed BSE that upon successful trial run of Unit No. # 2 of Teesta Low Dam HE Project, Stage-IV (4 X 40 MW) at its installed capacity of 40 MW for continuous 12 hours on dated March 29, 2016, the Unit No. #2 is hereby declared under Commercial Operation w.e.f. 00:00 hours of March 31, 2016.

Further the Company has informed that, 100% Power generated from TLDP-IV has been allocated to the state of West Bengal and the same shall be supplied through West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (WBSEDCL).
