| Exchange Disseminated Time | Jindal Strips Ltd has informed BSE that pursuant to Scheme of Arrangement and Demerger between Jindal Strips Ltd and Jindal Stainless Ltd the stainless steel undertaking of Jindal Strips Ltd with all the properties, assets, rights and power shall stands transferred to and vest in Jindal Stainless Ltd, without further act and deed wef April 1, 2002. Henceforth, all the manufacturing activities of stainless steel would be carried out by Jindal Stainless Ltd.
Keeping in view the above the company has reconstituted the Board of Directors of M/s Jindal Strips Ltd and Jindal Stainless Ltd. In furtherance of this, Naveen Jindal, N C Mathur, Suman Jyoti Khaitan and Dr Lokesh Kumar Singhal have resigned wef July 31, 2003 from the Board of Jindal Strips Ltd and have been appointed on the Board of Jindal Stainless Ltd in the EGM held on August 1, 2003.
Company further informed that Bhartendu Harit has been appointed as Company Secretary of Jindal Strips Ltd wef August 1, 2003 in place of A P Garg and he has been appointed as Sr Vice President and Company Secretary of Jindal Stainless Ltd wef August 1, 2003. |
