| Exchange Disseminated Time | Manaksia Ltd has informed BSE that the Company has declared suspension of work at its Mosquito Manufacturing Unit (Unit) located in Assam with effect from May 16, 2010 till further notice, as some workmen had indulged in violent demonstration, strike and various other wrongful acts in and around the Unit and have adopted go slow tactics for the last few months, which has jeopardize the business and peaceful environment of the Unit. The intimation of suspension of work has been filed with appropriate authorities.
Further, the Company informed that the above suspension of work would not have material impact on the performance of the Company as it is a lean period with respect to the items manufactured in that Unit. |
