Spicejet Ltd reply to clarification sought by the exchange

The Exchange has sought clarification from Spicejet Ltd with respect to the news media report appearing on Money Control on November 21, 2014 titled "Spicejet to sell part/complete stake to investor"

Spicejet Ltd has replied stating that "We wish to clarify that a few parties have approached us and evinced interest in making investments into SpiceJet Limited (the "Company"), as the Company has been exploring various options for raising fresh capital. However, since the deliberations with such prospective investors are at an exploratory and preliminary stage it will be improper to comment on the specifics of any possible stake sale or the valuation of the Company at this stage.

The Company shall be providing relevant information to BSE at appropriate time in accordance with Clause 36 of the listing agreement."
