| Exchange Received Time 09/05/2017 23:10:16 Exchange Disseminated Time 09/05/2017 23:10:23 Time Taken 00:00:07 | | Further to our communication dated April 27, 2017 with respect to the National Green Tribunal's ('NGT') order to certain industrial units in Gajraula [including industrial units of Company's wholly owned material Subsidiary, Jubilant Agri and Consumer Products Limited (JACPL)] to cease operations, we are pleased to inform you that the NGT has passed an order allowing us to restart manufacturing operations in both the units of JACPL at Gajraula in compliance with the directions issued by the NGT in this regard. JACPL has complied with the directions issued by NGT and have, with effect from today, restarted its manufacturing operations in Gajraula. Being a good corporate citizen, we are an environmentally conscious company and we focus on the triple bottom line of Economic, Environmental and Social performance. Our sustainability performance has been published in accordance with the principles and guidelines of Global Reporting Initiative (GRI). JACPL operates its manufacturing facilities in Gajraula with zero liquid discharge. We would like to assure that all our manufacturing facilities including those at Gajraula comply with all applicable laws. |
