| Exchange Disseminated Time | The Exchange has sought clarification from Kirloskar Oil Engines Ltd with respect to news article appearing on Financial Chronicle website on December 16, 2014 titled "Kirloskar Oil Engines plans to enter US market"
Kirloskar Oil Engines Ltd replied stating, "This is to inform you that, the Company had organized a Press Conference on 16th December 2014 for introducing Company's new branding 'KOEL Green'. During said Press conference, while answering queries related to Company's exports, a statement was made towards expanding current export sales in US and other markets. That statement was made with a perspective of increasing exports business in US market. The Company already has its exports presence in the market of Middle East, South Africa, US, Nigeria and Indonesia. This is in normal course of business. As such this is not a material information / price sensitive information and hence not required to be reported under Clause 36 of the Listing Agreement." |
