| Exchange Disseminated Time | | With reference to earlier announcement dated May 15, 2008 to make a voluntary offer to the public shareholders of BASF India Ltd for acquiring upto 6,289,591 full paid-up Equity Shares, constituting 22.31% of the Voting Capital of BASE India Ltd at a price of Rs 274 per Equity Share (the "Offer Price"), BASF India Ltd has now informed BSE that the Company have been informed by the Committee of Directors of BASE SE, that they have resolved in their meeting held on July 14, 2008, to revise the Offer price to Rs 300 per Equity Share (the "Revised Offer Price") in accordance with Regulation 26 of the SEBI (Substantial Acquisition of Shares and Takeovers) Regulations 1997. BASF SE would pay such Revised Offer Price for all the Equity Shares validly tendered any time during the Offer period and accepted under the Offer. |
