| Exchange Disseminated Time | Mukta Arts Ltd has informed BSE that Mukta Movies Distributors, a distribution and Exhibition Division of Mukta Arts Limited have acquired the Distribution Rights of English Film "Sanctum" coming from the Production House of James Cameroon (of "Titanic" and "Avataar" fame) for Bombay (Western Maharashtra including Mumbai city, Gujarat, Goa and part of Karnataka), Delhi U.P and Punjab (Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana and J&K) territories. The film is releasing on February 04, 2021 in English and Hindi in 2D, 3D and Imax 3D version and will be released simultaneously with World Release.
Apart from "Sanctum", Mukta Movies Distributors have acquired 5 more English Films to be released within next four months in the above territories. These include two 3D films and all films will be releasing simultaneously with World Release. Mukta Movies Distributors are also negotiating for at least 10 more films to be released before end of year 2011.
During the financial year 2010-11, Mukta Movies Distributors have released more than 50 films so far in various territories of India which include Hindi films "Dabangg", "I Hate Luv Storys", "Golmaal-3", "Khatta Meetha", "Robot", "Aakrosh", "Phas Gaya Re Obama", "Rakhta Charitra II", "Jhootha Hi Sahi", "Khichdi", "Do Dooni Char" "Hello Darling" as well as forthcoming film "Dil To Bachcha Hai Jee". The English Films released include "Narnia-3", "Tron Legacy", "Gulliver's Travels", "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows", "Clash of The Titans", "Inception", "Knight and Day" among others.
The Distribution business is strongly supported by Exhibition business through which Mukta Movies Distributors control programming of 160+ theatres all over India which include multiplexes of Big Cinemas (All India excluding Tamilnadu), Inox, Fame, Fun, DT Cinemas, Wave, SRS Cinemas in North India and many others including number of Single screen theatres. They are also coming up with their own theatres under Brand Name of "Mukta Cinemas" in the cities of Ahmedabad, Baroda, Bhopal, Vishakhapatnam and Bhiloda in Gujarat which are expected to start operations before March 31, 2011. |
