| Exchange Disseminated Time | With reference to the earlier announcement dated December 09, 2010, regarding Outcome of Board Meeting, PTC India Ltd has now informed BSE that in the said announcement the Company had informed that "Shri Umesh Narayan Panjiar, IAS (Retd.) has been appointed as independent Director w.e.f. December 07, 2010. He has worked as Secretary to the Government of India.".
However the Company would like to clarify that Shri. Umesh Narayan Panjiar has now informed that before accepting this appointment he needs permission of Government of India. Therefore, the exact date of joining of Shri. Umesh Narayan Panjiar as an independent Director will be intimated accordingly. |
