| Exchange Disseminated Time | With reference to the reports appearing in the Press in Sri Lanka on November 20, 2009, Kilitch Drugs India Ltd has given the following response to the same.
"Health Ministry of Sri Lanka has ordered recall of certain drugs made by 5 manufacturers from India. Our Company is one of them. Sri Lanka's health Ministry has banned these 5 suppliers for a period of 2 years.
We propose to file the strong objection to this order through India Embassy and / or other suitable forums.
It may, however, be noted that the exposure of the Company's turnover on this account is less than 1%." |
