| Exchange Disseminated Time | Bank of Baroda has informed BSE that in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of sub section (1) read with sub-section (4) of Section 8 of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934 the Central Government, vide its notification dated July 30, 2014, has appointed Shri S. S. Mundra, Chairman & Managing Director of the Bank as Deputy Governor, Reserve Bank of India for a period of three years from the date of his taking over charge of the post.
Accordingly, Shri Mundra has been relieved from Bank of Baroda on July 30, 2014 on the close of working hours and therefore ceased to be Chairman & Managing Director of the Bank w.e.f. July 31, 2014. |
