| Exchange Disseminated Time | Abbott India Ltd has informed BSE that:
1. Mr. Vivek Mohan has been offered a global role in the Abbott Group as Senior Director - Global Integrated Health, Established Pharmaceuticals Division. As a result, Mr. Mohan has tendered resignation as Managing
Director of the Company effective May 15, 2012. He will also cease to be Director of the Company with effect from the said date.
2. The Board, at its meeting held on March 15, 2012, appointed Mr. Rehan Khan as Additional Director of the Company with effect from March 15, 2012.
3. At the said Meeting, the Board also approved appointment of Mr. Rehan Khan as Managing Director of the Company for a period of five years with effect from May 15, 2012, subject to approval of shareholders at the ensuing Annual General Meeting of the Company. Mr. Rehan Khan's appointment shall be affective immediately upon resignation of Mr. Vivek Mohan as Managing Director on May 15, 2012. |
