| Exchange Disseminated Time | BPL Ltd has informed BSE that in the limited review report of the Company for the quarter ended December 31, 2006, the auditors of the Company have made the following observations:
"1. The Company has defaulted in payment of interest to consortium lenders and the aggregate amount of interest overdue as on December 31, 2006 is Rs 1044 lacs.
2. During the period there were delays in remittance of statutory dues including Provident Fund, ESIC, Customs Duty and Tax Deducted at Source. Customs Duty amounting to Rs 406 Lacs, is outstanding for a period exceeding 6 months as at December 31, 2006." |
