| Exchange Disseminated Time | The Exchange had sought clarification from Gulf Oil Lubricants India Ltd with respect to news article appearing in The Economic Times on January 15, 2015 titled "Gulf Oil Forms Strategic Alliance with Whitmore"
Gulf Oil Lubricants India Ltd replied stating "We hereby inform you that, it is a normal business activity of the Company to make such tie-ups and launch our products with various OEMs/other companies. This is in furtherance of the business of the Company and does not fall under price sensitive information. There is no material impact of the said news article. A copy of the marketing release is enclosed herewith for your reference.
Further clarifying that, we are not aware of any information that has not been announced to the Exchange(s) under Clause 36 of the Listing agreement." |
