| Exchange Disseminated Time | Jindal Strips Ltd has posted a net profit of Rs 131.50 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2001 as against Rs 188.60 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2000. Total Income has decreased from Rs 3530.40 million in SQ 2000 to Rs 2879.80 million in the quarter ended September 30, 2001.
The operations of Ferro Chrome Division (Vizag unit) have restarted. The operations of this unit were temporarily stopped due to issue relating to contract labour. These have now been resolved.
