| Exchange Disseminated Time | Maharashtra Scooters Ltd has informed BSE that Shri Rahul Bajaj, Chairman of Bajaj Auto Ltd, has resigned from the Chairmanship and Directorship of the Company with effect from October 18, 2006 in view of his various pre-occupation. He was the Chairman of the Company right from its inception in 1975.
Shri Madhur Bajaj, Vice-Chairman of Bajaj Auto Ltd, and who is a retiring Director on the Board of the Company has now been appointed as ex-officio Director (non retiring Director) on the Board of Directors of the Company on behalf of Bajaj Auto Ltd, in place of Shri Rahul Bajaj, effective from October 18, 2006.
Shri Madhur Bajaj has also been appointed the Chairman of the Company with effect from October 18, 2006 in place of the out-going Chairman Shri Rahul Bajaj.
Further, Shri Sanjiv Bajaj, Executive Director, Bajaj Auto Ltd, has been appointed as a retiring Director on behalf of Bajaj Auto Ltd, on the Board of the Company in the vacancy arising due to the resignation of Shri Rahul Bajaj from the Board with effect from October 18, 2006.
Further, Shri S S Patil, Director of the Company has ceased to be a Director with effect from October 17, 2006. |
