"This has reference to our letter dated May 19, 2014, informing that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company will be held on May 30, 2014 to consider and approve the Audited Financial Results of the Company for the financial year 2013-14 (October 01, 2013 to March 31, 2014).
In the meantime, owing to certain compelling recent development, the Company on May 24, 2014, declared suspension of work at its Uttarpara Plant. This was also informed to you vide our letter dated May 24, 2014. The Company’s accounts are maintained and prepared at its Uttarpara Plant only.
In view of present labour unrest at the Uttarpara Plant, it is not possible for the Company to access accounts and accordingly the Board Meeting scheduled for May 30, 2014 is being postponed till the accounts are accessed. The Company is hopeful that the normalcy shall be restored very soon." |
