| Exchange Disseminated Time 19/05/2016 19:20:05 | With reference to the earlier letter dated April 01, 2016 with respect to the adjudication order dated March 31, 2016 passed by SEBI imposing a penalty of Rs. 50 Lakh under Section 23A(a) and Rs. 50 Lakh under Section 23E of the Securities Contract (Regulation) Act, 1956 on the Company for violation of Clause 36 of the Listing Agreement read with Section 21 of Securities Contract (Regulation) Act, 1956.
Electrosteel Castings Ltd has now informed BSE that the Company has on May 19, 2016 filed an appeal before Securities Appellate Tribunal against the aforesaid order dated March 31, 2016 passed by the Adjudicating Officer, SEBI. |
