| Exchange Disseminated Time | Ambuja Cements Ltd has informed BSE that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on Dec 04, 2013, inter alia, have approved the appointment of Mr.Bernard Terver as an Additional Director of the Company with effect from 4th December, 2013. Mr. Terver is a representative of the Promoters viz; Holcim India Pvt Ltd and Holderind Investments Ltd on the Ambuja Board.
Mr. Bernard Terver, graduated from Ecole Polytechnic, Paris in 1976. He has a work experience of over thirty five years in the cement business and has been in the services of Holcim Limited since 1994 where he has held senior positions including that of Chief Executive Officer of Holcim Columbia and Holcim US. Mr. Terver not only has rich experience in cement and aggregates but also has a strong track record in financial performance as well as Occupational Health and Safety. |
