| Exchange Disseminated Time | Modi Rubber Ltd (MRL) has informed BSE that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on July 27, 2009, inter alai, has taken on record the following changes in Directors of the Company:
1. CESSATION OF DIRECTORS:
i. Mr. S K Kohli as Chairman, Nominee of Unit Trust of India (SUUTI):
The Administrator of the Specified Undertakings of the Unit Trust of India (SUUTI) vide its letter dated June 17, 2009 had withdrawn Mr. S S Kohli's from the Board of MRL who was the Chairman of the Company. The Board of Directors has taken a note of the said letter of SUUTI.
ii. Mr. Pawan Chopra as Special Director, Nominee of BIFR:
The Board for Industrial and Financial Reconstruction, (BIFR), vide order dated July 17, 2009 from the Board of MRL. directed cessation of Mr. Pawan Chopra as Special Director of MRL. The Board of Directors has noted the said Directors of Learned BIFR.
2. Appointment of Chairman and Additional Directors:
1. Mr. Vinay Kumar Modi, Vice Chairman has been re designated as Chairman of the Company in place of Mr. S S Kohli.
2. In order to have MRL Board broad base, the Board of Directors, at its meeting held on July 27, 2009, has appointed Mr. P R Khanna, and Mr. Chandan Bhattacharya, as Directors of MRL.
The necessary information for compliance to Registrar of Companies will be filed by the Company for the above changes. |
