"This has reference to articles published in the certain section of media with respect to hive-off of its paints business and launching its FPO in the FY 2011-12.
In this regard, the Company hereby informs that such news is without substance. The Company does not have any plans to carry out any hive-off of its paints division in the current financial year nor do the Company will going to launch any FPO in the near future.
The piece of news may be the result of the excessive derivation of the statement given by the Management in the post result interaction, pursuant to the query raised by the media persons, on running a paints division along with the steel division. Nothing can be conclusively about the course of action which the shareholders of the Company may decide in the longer period. However as of today the company has not initiated or given any thought to such actions. Even the matter has not been discussed formally or informally in any Board of Directors Meeting till date." |
