"- Achievements of MIC Electronics Limited
- MIC has received LM-79 certification for LED tubelight and will shortly launch, initially to Bulk users and thereafter in Retail segment.
- MIC will be launching an energy efficient MAGNESIUM ALLOY body LED bulb with CE/UL certification in the next few weeks in BULK buyer market to be followed by Retail segment.
Aimed at focusing the total energies only on LED lighting
- To concentrate on core business of LED lighting and Display, the management has decided and successfully hived off subsidiary infoSTEP India Private Limited. This move is aimed at focusing the total energies only on LED lighting which is expected to revolutionise Lighting Industry in the next decade and place MIC as a prominent and a dominant player in this segment.
Exports During the year 2010-11
- The business totaled US$1.5 mil to USA, UK, Mexico and Australia. Repeat orders in hand US$ 450000. The US exports are to a Major Sports Timing Company.
MIC also supplied VMS display screens to Australia.
Display Business
- During June and July of 2011 the executed orders worth Rs. 370 million and pending orders are Rs. 370 million of which a significant portion was for Railways to augment Passenger amenities in the form of True Colour Information display.
Lighting
- Lighting orders in hand from government / PSU / Corporate / Railways Rs. 110 mil.
Award
- MIC provided the fixed display screen, in a trend setting format, for NOKIA E7 phone campaign which bagged the GOLDEN award for Outdoor Advt campaign of the year" |
