| Exchange Disseminated Time | Goldstone Technologies Ltd has announced that it is setting up a new division to focus on implementation of Business Intelligence solutions.
"The Business Intelligence foray is a natural progression for us at Goldstone Technologies, given that we are already supporting one of major BI software tool for several years now." says D P Sreenivas, Executive Director, of the Company.
"The Company has recently launched its IPTV division and colorization and restoration divisions. We are in the process of colorizing ‘Hum Dono’, the Dev Anand classic, which is scheduled to be released in theatres by December. Also work on a Kannada movie is in progress. In IPTV, Company is using a patented technology for Triple Play services, which delivers quality video at only 600 kbps bandwidth. Currently trials are being conducted in Asia Pac region," Mr. Sreenivas said.
Commenting on the first quarter results, Mr. Sreenivas said, "We witnessed a growth in revenues in U.S. dollar terms, but the appreciating value of the rupee impacted our earnings. With our new divisions, we expect our revenues to improve in the coming quarters." |
