| Exchange Disseminated Time | Kanani Industries Ltd has informed BSE that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on July 03, 2009, has decided the following:
1. To appoint Mr. Deependra Shukla, Practicing Company Secretary, as a Scrutinizer for Conducting Postal Ballot for the Company and
2. To approve Notice of Postal Ballot under Section 192A of the Companies Act, 1956 for:
(i) Borrowings that will exceed the aggregate of the paid-up capital of the Company and its free reserves, that is to say, reserves not set apart for any specific purpose under Section 293(1)(d) of the Companies Act, 1956 &
(ii) Making investment in other body corporate exceeding the paid up share capital and free reserves of the Company under Section 372A of the Companies Act, 1956. |
