| Exchange Disseminated Time | Indo Tech Transformers Ltd has informed BSE that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on November 20, 2006, inter alia, has discussed and taken on record the following:
1. Expansion of existing Transformer Plant at Thirumazhisai:
The work relating to increase in the Installed Capacity of the existing Power Transformer Plant at Thirumazhisai from 1800 MVA per annum to 2400 MVA per annum at the budgeted cost of Rs 365.00 lakhs is complete and commercial production has commenced.
2. Relocation & Modernisation of Saidapet Distribution Plant:
The work relating to relocation and modernization of Saidapet Distribution Plant into a New Distribution Transformer Plant at Thirumazhisai with an Installed Capacity of 750 MVA per annum is complete and commercial production shall commence from November 20, 2006. The budgeted cost was Rs 750.00 lakhs and the actual cost incurred was Rs 650.O0 lakhs.
3. Dry Type Transformer Plant at Thirumazhisai:
The work relating to setting up of a Dry Type Transformer Plant at Thirumazhisai with an Installed Capacity of 100 MVA per annum is progressing satisfactorily and is expected to be completed by January, 2007. The budgeted cost was Rs 200.00 lakhs and the actual cost is re-estimated at Rs 150.00 lakhs.
4. New Power Transformer Plant at Kancheepuram:
The Board approved the proposal to enhance the Installed Capacity of the New Power Transformer Plant at Kancheepuram from 2400 MVA to 4000 MVA right from the inception stage to benefit from economies of scale. The proposed project would be capable of manufacturing 400 KV class transformers in addition to the 220 KV class transformers earlier planned. The cost of the project which is revised from the budgeted Rs 3060.00 lakhs to Rs 4860.00 lakhs would be funded from IPO proceeds, internal accruals and loans from banks. |
