| Exchange Disseminated Time | With reference to the earlier announcement dated August 29, 2012 regarding Board approves Rights Issue of equity shares, Bajaj Finserv Ltd has now informed BSE that September 08, 2012 has been fixed as the Record Date for the purpose of proposed rights issue of equity shares of the Company.
Further the Company has informed about the following:
- Fractional entitlements - The fractional entitlements shall be ignored; however, eligible equity shareholders whose fractional entitlements are being ignored would be given preference in allotment of one additional rights share each if they apply for such additional rights share.
- FIPB Approval - The Special Committee constituted by the Board of Directors also took note of the approval received from the FIPB dated August 02, 2012. FIPB's approval is for the issuance and allotment of equity shares up to 10.4 percent of the equity of the company to persons resident outside of India including FIIs, NRIs and holders of Global Depository Receipts pursuant to the rights issue. |
