| Exchange Disseminated Time | Thirumalai Chemicals Ltd has informed BSE that at a meeting of all the Independent Directors of the Board of the Company held on January 06, 2012, Dr. S. Rama Iyer, a Board Member has been appointed as the independent Non-executive Chairman of the Company in place of Mr. R. Sampath.
Further the Company has informed that, Mr. R. Sampath was on the board as a non-executive chairman for the period from February 07, 2011 upto the beginning of the Board Meeting, that was held on January 06, 2012.
The appointment of Dr. S. Rama Iyer as the Independent Non-executive Chairman of the Company was duly ratified by all the Board Members at the Board Meeting immediately following the above-mentioned meet of the Independent Directors on January 06, 2012.
Ms. Neha Huddar, who has resigned from the position of CFO of the Company, has been a part of this Company for 28 years. She will however, continue to serve the Company till the close of business hours on February 27, 2012. |
