    In continuation to our letter of even number dated 24.05.2017 and in compliance to Regulation 30 of SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015, it is to inform that the Board of Directors of NHPC Ltd in its meeting held today i.e. Tuesday, 30th May, 2017 (commenced at 2.30 P.M and concluded at 5:45 P.M) has considered the proposal for raising of Rs 1756 crore through issuance of 'W' series corporate bonds on private placement basis which is out of Rs 4500 crore already approved by the shareholders in their 40th Annual General Meeting held on 22.09.2016.
