| Exchange Disseminated Time | HB Stockholdings Ltd has informed BSE that M/s. DCM Shriram Industries Ltd (DSIL) has filed a petition against the Company to Company Law Board New Delhi under Section 111A and Sec 247 of the Companies Act 1956.
In the aforesaid petition, (DSIL) has sought rectification of Register of Beneficial Owners maintained by the Depository for the acquisition of shares made by the Company in DSIL beyond 15% alleging violation of SEBI (SAST) Takeover Regulations, 1997. In its interim prayer, it also sought suspension of voting rights on shares acquired by the Company beyond 15% in DSIL.
In the hearing on February 06, 2008, the Company Law Board finding no merits in the submissions / petition and declined the interim prayer sought by DSIL. The Petition is now listed for hearing on 10th and 11th March 2008. |
