| Exchange Disseminated Time | Balmer Lawrie & Company Ltd has informed BSE that the members of the Company will consider to approve by way of Postal Ballot the Special Resolution relating to alter the Memorandum of Association of the Company.
The Board of Directors has appointed Shri P. V. Subramanian, a Practicing Company Secretary as the Scrutinizer for conducting the Postal Ballot process in a fair and transparent manner.
The Postal Ballot form duly completed should reach the scrutinizer on or before the close of the working hours on December 26, 2009. The scrutinizer will submit his report to the Managing Director - who is the Chairman of General Meetings , or in his absence to one of the Wholetime Directors of the Company or to any officer authorized / designated by the Managing Director after completion of the scrutiny and the results of the postal ballot will be announced by the Managing Director acting as Chairman of General Meeting or in his absence by one of the Wholetime Director of the Company on January 14, 2010. |
