Pritish Nandy Communications’ forthcoming film Saluun will premiere at the Cairo International Film Festival 2009, one of the oldest and most prestigious film festivals in the Middle East, to commence on November 10. “This year CIFF will welcome the new generation of brilliant filmmakers from India by honoring Indian cinema. PNC’s Saluun represents the fresh breed of Indian filmmakers and It a great pleasure for us to screen the movie at the festival,” says Ezzat Abou Ouf, Festival President.
It is PNCs third forthcoming film in the current quarter that has been chosen for an
international festival. Fatso premiered In the HBO South Asian Film Festival In New
York last weekend. So did Raat Gayi Baat Gayi, which went on to win the Best Film
Award at the Festival as well. |
