| Exchange Disseminated Time 16/09/2016 16:10:23 | Punjab National Bank has informed BSE that the Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Financial Services vide notification dated September 15, 2016 has nominated Shri Sanjiv Sharan as Executive Director of the Bank with effect from the date of his taking charge of the post up to May 31, 2019 i.e. the date of his superannuation or till further orders whichever is earlier.
Shri Sanjiv Sharan has assumed charge of Executive Director of the Bank on September 15, 2016.
The appointment has been done in terms of Clause (a) of sub-section (3) of Section 9 of the Banking Companies (Acquisition & Transfer of Undertakings) Act 1970/1980 read with sub-clause (1) of clause 3 and sub-clause (1) of clause 8 of the Nationalized Banks (Management & Miscellaneous Provisions) Scheme, 1970/1980. |
