| Exchange Disseminated Time | The Exchange had sought clarification from GTL Ltd with respect to news appearing in The Economic Times on January 29, 2015 titled "HC Asks Creditors to Reach Consensus."
GTL Ltd replied stating "we would like to draw your kind attention to our letter bearing Ref. No. GTL/CS-SE/2014-15/049 dated January 19, 2015 thereby furnishing the required disclosure in the captioned matter under Clause 36 of the Listing Agreement to your stock exchange and National Stock Exchange of India Limited.
Since the captioned article comments on the developments in the proceedings of the H’ble High Court and as the matter is sub-judice, the Company is not in a position to comment on the same.
The Company’s good governance practices do not permit commenting on market speculative reports / articles and in furtherance to the same we reiterate that as and when the final! outcome will be arrived, provided that it involves any action, if any, against the Company, necessary Information would be disseminated to the Stock Exchanges." |
