| Exchange Disseminated Time 23/09/2015 20:22:24 | Balmer Lawrie & Company Ltd has informed BSE that the Company at its Press Meet after the 98th Annual General Meeting held on September 22, 2015 has announced investment of Rs. 400 Crore (Rupees Four Hundred Crore only) in its logistics infrastructure business in the next 24-36 months.
The area of focus are as follows:
1. Setting up of Multi-modal Logistics Hub at Vizag, a project under the MoU signed by the Company with Visakhapatnam Port Trust.
2. Setting up of Temperature-controlled Warehouses at different locations in phases.
3. Revival of Transafe Services Ltd., a joint-venture of the Company which has been referred to the Board for Industrial and Financial Reconstruction. |
