|
Presently, whenever there is trading happening from Disaster Recovery Site (DR) the EOBI stream of market data is sent from DR site to Primary Site (PR) colocation. The EOBI data is transported over the Wide Area Network (WAN). There may be quality issues in this transmission of data.
BSE proposes to introduce additional multicast streams in derivatives segment for the EOBI market data. This stream of market data will be more reliable and improved quality. There will be new multicast IP and ports for this stream of market data. The new stream will be available only in Colocation center. The colocation member has the option to subscribe to the current multicast stream of the new streams whose multicast IP details are provided below.
The new stream of EOBI data is introduced on a pilot basis and thus has only 1 service available for incremental and snapshot stream.
The streams will be available from Monday 23rd December 2024 and it will be available whenever the live trading/mock occurs from DR Site.
Members who wish to avail this facility would require doing certain network level changes. The members should contact the colocation support team to enable these streams on their network.
